Portfolio CMS
A content workstation for running the whole site alone: writing, portfolio, leads, newsletters, live chat and the AI assistant, all in one panel.
Overview
The CMS covers posts with a rich-text editor, a media library, categories and tags, projects, services and experience with drag-to-reorder, homepage section order, subscribers, newsletter campaigns, the contact inbox and site feature flags. The dashboard shows traffic, recent materials and stats. Three features set it apart:
a live chat console where the owner takes over conversations from the AI;
an agent page for editing the system prompt and reviewing rated answers;
a mockup editor that frames project screenshots in device cards with gradient, border, zoom and aspect controls.
Challenge & approach
The aim was to make daily content work fast and safe for a non-stop solo workflow:
Writing — TipTap editor with media insertion, a publish box with status, visibility and scheduled publishing, bulk actions, featured images, quick drafts, and a one-click AI draft of the SEO title and description to review before saving.
Leads and chat — An inbox with filters and status handling. A chat console with search, a “needs Ivan” queue that clears when the owner answers or resolves the chat, and real-time replies over WebSocket.
AI quality control — The agent page shows each answer’s source, grounding and visitor feedback, so the prompt can be tuned from real conversations.
Architecture — FSD with about 60 single-purpose features (one action per slice). Redux Toolkit and RTK Query for all API calls, with the token validated on start and attached automatically. No mocks at runtime: the only source of data is the API.
